JAMES WALL @ $400+ an hour
November, 2011 Made an appointment to diagnose furnace which would not stay on. The tech said it needed a new ignitor (Part # 768A-844). On the Interned, this part costs from $25 - $78. The tech installed the part in 30 minutes. He charged $280 for the part and the 30 minutes. This works out to over $400 per hour in labour charges. I noticed in another James Wall review, the tech wanted to charge over $700 per hour in labour. This makes me wonder if the techs make up prices after sizing up customers. Does James Wall have a pricing policy or a price list? It's time for the Manitoba government to investigate this company.
