Permanent make-up, also known as micropigmentation, is a procedure that uses sterilized disposable needles to apply pigment into the dermal layer of the skin. Larissa uses top quality pigments made by the leader of Canada's permanent cosmetics, Micropigmentation Centre Incorporated. They are made of mineral, iron oxide base colorants. Topical anesthetics are applied to the area prior to the procedure to provide comfort for the client. A post-care kit is provided after each procedure. All procedures include a follow up appointment which is necessary to "tweak" your final results and you will receive an aftercare kit after each procedure to ensure your comfortability. You must heal in-between sessions. If you’re planning to have your procedure done in time for a special event, you should plan accordingly. Typical heal times are 4 weeks for eyeliner and eyebrows and 6 weeks for lips. Although there is minimal downtime for each procedure, the procedure itself will likely take a few hours. This is an application of permanency and it is important not to rush the process. Allow for the advised timeframe.
