Formerly known as “Mondo Gelato Caffè”, and “Gelarmony”, D’oro Gelato e Caffé was established in 2000 by founder Maurizio Grande when he opened the first location at 1094 Denman Street. D’oro Gelato e Caffè has been the home of the ultimate gelato experience since 2000. D’oro Gelato e Caffé is truly where old world meets new world; we use the most cutting edge gelato technology available today, while following age-old Sicilian recipes, making our gelato distinctly smoother and creamier than the competition. Each day D’oro Gelato e Caffè produces fresh, small-batch, artisan gelato and sorbetto using only the highest quality, local ingredients. We are also a full-service Italian caffè, proudly using coffee by Caffè Umbria, a company that dates to 1940. Our menu also features custom made Gelato cakes, a wide variety of Italian bakery items, including pastries and desserts such as tiramisu, noccila cake and cannolis, and light bites like soups, salads and grilled paninis.
