  Dr. Lesley A. David

  DDS, Dip. OMFS, FRCDC

  Dr. Lesley A. David is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon practicing in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She is on staff at Trillium Health Partners and the Mt. Sinai Hospital. Dr. David is a clinical instructor in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Toronto and was involved in teaching and research for years in the graduate Implant Prosthodontic Unit at The University of Toronto. Dr. David is a Fellow and past Examiner of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. She is on the advisory board for DC Institute and is a remedial course provider in implants and oral and maxillofacial surgery for the Royal College of Dentists of Ontario. Dr. David lectures nationally and internationally on various topics in implant dentistry and oral surgery. She has also published various articles and chapters predominantly on implant dentistry.

  Dr. Jonathan Pong

  Dr. Jonathan Pong, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) at Queen’s University and dental school at Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. His passion for oral and maxillofacial surgery took him to New York City to train at the Montefiore Hospital Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Pong graduated from the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery program in 2012, and he pursued private practice in New York City in addition to being a staff attending surgeon. In 2018, he returned home to Canada with his wife and son. Dr. Pong is passionate about serving his community. His interests include pathology, dentoalveolar surgery, bone grafting, dental implants, and the administration of anesthesia. Dr. Pong is a certified specialist in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Outside of work, Dr Pong is an avid Leafs fan.

  Dr. Sean Lim

  Originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, Dr. Sean Lim completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of British Columbia. He then completed dental school at the same institution, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine. During his time in dental school, he joined the Canadian Armed Forces, where he served as Second Lieutenant. Upon graduation, Dr. Lim moved to Toronto, Ontario, where he was promoted to Captain and served at Canadian Forces Base Borden as a Dental Officer in General Dentistry. After completing his obligatory service with the military, Dr. Lim continued his studies by completing his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is here where he received extensive, broad-scope training in all facets of the field. Upon graduating, he moved back to Toronto, Ontario. Sean enjoys the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, with special interests in wisdom teeth extractions, dental implants, orthognathic surgery and maxillofacial trauma. Outside of work, Sean is a diehard Toronto Raptors fan, and you will likely catch him at Scotiabank Arena on game days. He is also an avid foodie who loves to try new restaurants, both in Toronto and abroad.

  Dr. Shereif Zareif Tawfik

  Dr. Shereif Zareif Tawfik (known as Dr. Said), a periodontist, completed a periodontics internship at Case Western Reserve University in 2012, following which, he started his post-doctoral training in periodontics with a special focus on growth factors and peri-implant tissue. Dr. Said completed his periodontology training in 2016 at Boston University where he was a Clinical Assistant Professor in the post-doctoral periodontology department for 5 years. He transitioned to full-time private practice limited to periodontology and implant dentistry in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Said is both a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Dr. Said is a renowned periodontist as he lectures internationally and has published multiple refereed articles and book chapters on the topic of anterior implant esthetics, with a focus on minimally invasive and cosmetic regenerative procedures. On his spare time, Dr. Said enjoys spending time with his friends and family, playing squash and travelling to beach destinations where he has recently taken up wakeboarding as a new hobby.
