Description

Focused Psychological Services (FPS) offers criminal risk assessments, psychosexual assessments, and treatment for adolescent and adult males whose sexual behaviour is in conflict with the law. The primary clinician, Diane Chisholm, M.A., C.Psych., is a psychologist with over three decades of experience working with clients of diverse cultural backgrounds. The strengths of clients are emphasized. FPS upholds the highest ethical standards while working collaboratively with case managers in correctional services, social workers in child protection, and clients. FPS provides comprehensive, concise, and actionable professional reports. FPS also evaluates and reports on nominated supervisors to present in court for men who seek judicial authorization with respect to Orders of Prohibition under Section 161.1(c) of the Criminal Code of Canada. All services are provided virtually, generally after the disposition of criminal charges.
