Your Spruce Grove eyecare center offers genuine eye care where your eye health and wellness is our primary focus. Annual eye exams are a recommended cornerstone for ensuring the health of your eyes. In addition to checking for changes in your vision and updating your prescription, we will also look at your overall eye health, internally and externally. Prevention and early detection are keys to maintaining healthy eyes, as some eye health issues have no immediate symptoms but can still cause damage if left untreated. That’s why regular check-ups are critical.

Dr. Afzal Fahad
Dr. Afzal was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, and moved to Calgary before starting school. After getting his first pair of glasses he able to excel in school and pursue his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta. He went on to obtain his Doctorate in Optometry from the Rosenberg School of Optometry. Dr. Afzal now practices Optometry in Spruce Grove and around the greater Edmonton area. When not working Dr. Afzal enjoys spending time with his family and playing hockey.

Dr. Brittany Shewchuk
Dr. Shewchuk was born and raised in Saskatchewan. She has been practicing in the Edmonton area since 2012 and has been lucky enough to call the Spruce Grove area home since 2018. Dr. Shewchuk is currently accepting new patients of all ages and has a keen interest in co-managing ocular disease and paediatrics. When she isn?t at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and good books. Dr. Shewchuk looks forward to meeting you and assisting you with all your glasses, contact lens, and ocular health needs.
