Dr. Kabir Virdi
Oral and Maxillofacial SurgeonDr. Virdi was born and raised in Saskatoon. He completed his undergraduate dental training at the University of Saskatchewan in 2003. After graduation, he served three years as a general dentist with the rank of captain at National Defense Headquarters in Ottawa, Canada. In 2006, Dr. Virdi retired from the military to pursue specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, IL where he graduated in 2010. Dr. Virdi currently works at Saskatoon Oral Surgery and is the course director of undergraduate oral and maxillofacial surgery, local anesthesia and pain control at the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry. Dr. Virdi serves as the Prairie Representative of the Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is a board member for the Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation and a council member for the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan. Dr. Virdi enjoys practising a broad scope oral and maxillofacial surgery. His main interests are implant dentistry, orthognathic surgery, pathology and reconstructive temporomandibular joint (TMJ) surgery. Current interests also include the expanding use of computer-assisted surgical design and CT-guided surgery. Kabir lives in Saskatoon with his wife, daughter and son. When not at work he loves spending time with his family and friends. Kabir enjoys travelling, watching movies and reading.
