I used the Perth Athletic Centre several times throughout the week (June 2012) and found the gym and atmosphere just what you would expect in a small town. The staff and other members make you feel at home. The building itself is totally amazing (it is the old Brown Shoe building) and they have managed to retain alot of the original brickwork and windows. The gym is well equiped with free-weights and machines, a dojo upstairs and some punching bags and gymastics equipment. The price of their guest passes for the day is an amazing value for what you get. Definitely check it out if you are looking for a hassle-free gym to use. They do not make you fill out endless paperwork or charge any "administrative" or other fees.
