Empowering and supporting families during the dying process. Death is not optional. The concept of death is the number one fear in the world. The number one fear of a dying patient is that they do not want to be a burden to their family. The word "Doula" is Greek for servant or helper. A Death Doula sees death as a process, rather than a single event.
