Nice teacher
I sent my son to Parkdale school after receiving recommendation from a family`s friend. Yes, the school secretary is a black woman who smiles very rarely and the kids are quite multicultural. I am myself kind of nervous at the beginning, mainly because we are from a small town and my son has not been exposed to many cultures. However, to my surprise, my son makes friends and he loves his kindergarten teacher- Ms J-. After five months, my shy and introverted 5 year-old son becomes much more sociable and independent. So I give the school a 4 stars this year thanks to Ms J.

My first impression
To make it short, this school doesn't inspire confidence. Extremely multicultural with names on some children only a stray cat could pronounce. The administration consists of a full figured black women who seems odd. Another one is a Paki who gave me the impression she didn't like Quebecer-Canadians. I've had bad reviews myself from one teacher from another school at the pool that thought this was a "special" school and another, one of my neighbors who said his children went there. To put it lightly he didn't recommend going there. So I'm still undecided whether or not to proceed.
