Description
Hamer Bay Marine, founded by J.J. Hamer, has been operating since the early 1930’s and was the second Evinrude dealership in Canada. J.J. serviced boats and motors, but he also built cottages, docks and boathouses. He could take you to Gravenhurst in a 1938 Greavette. He founded a business based on reliability and trust that lasted for 50 years. Since 1980, for over 40 years Terry and Sandy Johnson continued the tradition where high end service is the top priority. In 2010, Mike Johnson moved back to his hometown and started working at the marina as Terry transitioned into retirement. In 2019, Terry officially retired and Mike took ownership of the marina. He is proud to continue his father's vision for "No Aggravation Boating".
