Unimpressed by complete lack of customer service

the cab driver we had on the night September 24th was extremely rude to me after i simply asked why my fair was already starting at $4.00, and i really did not appreciate the rudeness because he had quoted me 10 minutes and took 30 min! and was even rude on the phone when i called back after 20 minutes to see if he was still coming, said "well im on my way there so we'll see what happens" and hung up. had i known it would have taken that long i wouldn't have cared but simply would have called another cab. and when i asked why he had started the fair at $4.00 he told me the last person wanted to stop at mcdonalds so it took him longer to get here, i replied by saying well i was quoted 10 min and it took 30 so im not sure thats very fair. He snapped and said well i can just turn around and take you right back and not take your money at all! at this point i was very annoyed and told him i do not think it is fair to have to pay in money and time for someone else's extra trip! he was extremely rude to me! I may be young but that does not mean i dont know about and appreciate good customer service, i work in guest services i know how to treat customers and the way he treated me is NOT how! i dont care if your driving a cab it does not give you the right to treat people with disrespect and show up late and overcharge them for a ride. I have taken M.C. taxi before and been very pleased, but i was extremely unhappy with my experience this night with this man and would sincerely hope he does not continue to treat people like this.
