Description
Dr. Bugera grew up on a farm near Elk Point, Alberta. She decided to become an optometrist after remembering having to travel far for appointments, and the improvement she experienced with her first pair of glasses. Thus, she became devoted to providing quality optometry to rural areas. She attended the University of Waterloo and graduated with awards, scholarships and honours in 1996. She previously worked at Gimbel Eye Center performing surgery consultations for LASIK and PRK patients. Dr. Bugera is also passionate about charity, and enjoys helping to provide care in places like Costa Rica.
