Dr. Beatrice Wong
Dr. Wong graduated from the School of Optometry at the University of Waterloo and started her career as an optometrist in the Vancouver area. Since returning to her hometown of Toronto, she has been involved in research in ocular allergies and the development of a novel medical device in the delivery of ocular medications, working with the Ontario Association of Optometrists speaking to new registrants to Ontario, and working in private practice. In 2011, she opened her practice in Leaside which has grown to become well-established in the community. In 2013, the Lakeshore clinic was opened and is now a part of the Leslieville-Beaches neighbourhood. Dr. Wong specializes in contact lenses including custom contact lenses to treat conditions such as keratoconus. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages, including young children and infants, and enjoys her full-scope practice treating and co-managing ocular disease and co-managing refractive surgery cases, such as LASIK and PRK.
