False ads for non working product

Answered ad for stainless steel fridge on market place. Met with mike Sutton at 22 king st e Dundas on July 10/20. Put deposit, picked up July 13. Got home ice maker not working. Have been trying to contact since for resolution. All phone numbers are bogus and no one is at the location when they say they are. Finally got ahold of him and he reassured me he would fix or replace as warranty states. I am still waiting. Does not stand by his warranty. Does not honor customer service. I had decided on him since he was local small business and I dealt with his daughter. Shame on me for not doing my homework before giving my hard earned money

King Appliances does not honour warranties

We had a washing machine delivered on September 23rd. The installers were to take it up to the 2nd floor, but dropped it down 3 steps. They continued to take it upstairs and installed it. We ran a test load, but the washer leaked out the front door. We noticed the front door was crooked. We called, texted and left voicemails with King Appliances to get it fixed. They had not responded to any messages by September 25th, so I went into the office to discuss. They promised to have a tech out the next day to look at it. The technician never arrived, and they didn't respond to any requests for updates. My wife drove to the office on Oct 1, and they told her someone would be at the house Oct 2 or 3. Again, nobody responded to requests for updates. I drove to the office on Oct 4, and they told me they were waiting for a part and it should be in by the following week. I explained my frustration at waiting almost 2 weeks and getting no updates from them. We verbally agreed that if it was not resolved by October 8th, that I would get an independent technician to come and fix the door, and they would reimburse me for the bill. On October 5th at 1:30am, I received a text message from them stating that they were voiding the warranty. The reason they stated is that I looked at the door myself to see if I could find the problem. They have offered 0 reimbursement.
