Good companies still exist
My wife and I had just purchased a new home with the hopes of slowly renovating it over the years, at our own pace. Well that plan went out the window, as our air-conditioning system and foundation were in need of major repairs all within 3 weeks of moving-in (this is after a "professional" inspection). Our neighbour had recently installed a ductless cooling unit with JCD, whom they referred to us. When their tech came for a service visit, he informed us that this was "one of the oldest units he's ever seen" but would still continue to diagnose it. After a few minutes outside, we learned the compresor was faulty and that is wasn't worth replacing (hint: unit was 30+ years old!). He took his time with us, explaining the pros and cons of different types of systems. In the end we chose to go with a Lennox Signature series/line heat pump with an electric variable furnace. They coordinated with other companies to all be on site the same day as the installation (plumber, electrician, oil removal specialist, and duct work). From their reviews and recommendations I trusted them to perform the work from 8AM until the afternoon, while we were at work. Very happy with the experience I've had at JCD and impressed with their level of professionalism after having had bad experiences in the past with other contractors for others parts of the home. It's a pleasure to see a good company doing good quality work.

Great experience
Our electric furnace gave out while I was out of town, so my wife asked our neighbour for a reliable reference, and she referred us to this company. I called 2 hours later to see when they would be coming, but she said they had already passed by and would be back with parts soon. The old furnace is now running great, and I can't thank them enough for handling it so quickly
