Your Cobourg eyecare center offers genuine eye care where your eye health and wellness is our primary focus. Annual eye exams are a recommended cornerstone for ensuring the health of your eyes. In addition to checking for changes in your vision and updating your prescription, we will also look at your overall eye health, internally and externally. Prevention and early detection are keys to maintaining healthy eyes, as some eye health issues have no immediate symptoms but can still cause damage if left untreated. Dr. Arif Surani
Dr. Surani is a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the American Optometric Association. He is dedicated to providing a high standard of care, with a keen interest in counselling patients on optimizing ocular heath. He had the opportunity to work alongside ophthalmologists, which enhanced his abilities to detect and manage ocular disease, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and glaucoma.

Dr. Hiten Negandhi
Dr. Hiten Negandhi graduated with high distinction from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. He began a Masters in Neuroscience and then went on to pursue a career in optometry, graduating on the Dean's Honour List from the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry, in April 2000. Dr. Negandhi has been a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Optometrists, and the American Optometric Association.
