Rude service, slow checkout.
Why are there 10 checkout registers when they only ever have one open? The queue yesterday had 13 people waiting with full grocery carts. It took more than half an hour to check out! Employees are rude, never helpful and always seem to be from another department, so can't help you. The manager offered no solution, but said he was sorry. I never buy frozen or perishable things 'cuz it's always the same...one cashout open,long wait and angry people. My local Zehrs store says it's not their problem, it's the rules "from Head Office". Time for Head Office to something about the shoddy service!!!!

Rude staff leave me hurt and confused.
Zehrs. Bayfield , Barrie Ont How sad to be treated with rudness and sneering but that has been my experience for the past six months at this store. The cashiers refuse to bag or show their resentment. I asked about my bill today because I could not understand it. It is a tax free day and I thought they added the tax. Two chashiers said no tax was charged. I remained confused. An unidentified member showed up to explain. Her hostility topped the rudeness of my first cashier.I was not being rude I just could not see the bill clearly.This matter could have and should have been explained kindly.I am 75 and I have never been treated like this before.

Shopping carts
I shop at the Conestoga Mall Zehrs most of the time. How convenient it would be to have carts at the mall entrance! As it is now, we have to track through the entire store, and go to the main door to get a cart. Surely there could be some space made somewhere at that entrance for a few shopping carts. I love the small carts - there should be more of them. I was at the Conestoga Mall Zehrs this week and needed to use the ladies' room. I opened the door and turned away in disgust. This is not the first time, I've had this experience and I reported it at the Customer Service desk. Shouldn't these facilities be kept in a reasonably clean state especially in a grocery store?

photo lab
I recently tried to use the photo lab to order prints. Unfortunately, 2 out of 4 machines were out of service and the other two machines were being used by customers who did not care how long the line ups were behind them. Today, I arrived a the store at 3:00 pm and a the customers using the machines had been using them for hours. So I thought I'd get my groceries done. When I finished I could not believe my eyes. The woman how had been using the machine since 1:00 was still there at 5:00. I understand there is no time limit on the use of these machines. The clerk in charge felt helpless and most customers just left after waiting 20 or 30 minutes with no hope in sight. Would it be possible to have a time limit posted so that if there is a line up, more than one customer can place their order for pictures that day? Best regards,
