Kate came to pilates as a bit of a skeptic. With a career in high performance sport and a background in classical ballet, she wasn't quite sure what pilates was going to do for her, but was open to learning more to help both herself and her athletes. In 2010, she signed up for a STOTT Pilates teacher course in Montreal and quickly became a believer. Throughout the course she saw not only personal development in her posture and core, she saw the myriad of ways that she could help others reach their potential. For the past 8 years Kate has worked with all different populations of people: from professional performers at Cirque du Soeliel's TOTEM; large group mat classes in Sydney, Australia; reformer lessons with ageing Americans; and most recently with elementary and school age gymnasts here in Calgary. Kate looks forward to teaching each and every one of the new Club Pilates clients in Royal Oak and helping everyone on their path towards a healthy and happy life.
