With a particular interest in paediatric retinal diseases, which are rare and can be difficult to correctly diagnose and treat, makes his extra training in this area a great benefit to Southern Alberta. Outside of work, Dr. Mitchell likes to spend his spare time with his wife and children. He is an avid golfer, skier, runner, and hockey player, making Calgary’s four seasons perfect for him.
